    Book Title Game

    Book Title Game

I am wondering if we can play the Song Title Game with book titles and authors. We will post a book title which contains a word from the previous post. If -and only if- we cannot think of a book title containing word, another work by the same author (so this will be our wild card in a way).

I will get the ball rolling with this book:

A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce
Understanding, it strikes a man more dead than a great reckoning in a little room - William S.

Yes, Sid, I left the F off. Quite a common usage. He did it himself. So did students, when I was pretending to be one.

Do you think "The" counts as a word repeating from the previous entry?

    I wanted to offer

Management: Richard L Daft. However, there were three reasons against that:

    • only one word
    • the author's name
    • the fact that Amazon offers 39 second-hand copies at 3.
