    Find The Title

I thought this might be fun to try. A movie title is hidden by synonyms or simple clues. The object of the game is to find the title.
Once solved and the previous poster confirms the title, you leave another obscured title and so on.

    RULES

Polite comments are welcome but MUST be accompanied by a relevant, on topic post.

If no one can guess the title then the poster is King/Queen for the day and gets to set another. (after they reveal the last one!)

    EXAMPLES
    A Good-looking Mentality? = A Beautiful Mind
    Elevated Midday? = High Noon

I hope it is fun, enjoy.

    To start us off;

I think that will be Blade Runner.

How about 'The Extended Spring Break' ?

Assuming that Blade Runner - though unconfirmed - is correct ...

Sorry, just noticed we are supposed to wait for confirmation. That's going to slow the thread down a lot in my view, but anyway ...

The Long Good Friday is correct.

You are probably right Ritchie, and perhaps Alice might consider tweaking the rules?

Sorry everyone, I did not realise it would slow things down so much. Consider the rule tweaked to 'No Confirmation Required'

    So, Ritchie, do carry on.

    Thanks, Alice and Ritchie.

This is a fun game, but I foresee a potential issue with the 'no confirmation' tweak, since it's possible for someone to guess wrongly and then play out of turn. I suppose if we accept that several movie titles might fit the same clue, and that any one of them would be considered valid, then we should be ok.

    Next clue:

LondonLurker - I am happy to adjust the rules to suit the consensus of players, I take your point about a wrong answer. I am open to suggestions.

The Body (Oh dear, so many this could fit. I'll await a heads up from Lancisto on this one.

Well now, I think the answer is probably The Matrix. So that's two of us waiting for Lancisto.

I think this might be Quadrophenia, but I'm not sure. So I await confirmation.

I was actually thinking of “Quartet”, but as Cally’s answer fits I think he should get the nod.

Ritchie, I thought the name “Quadrophenia” was indicative of four personalities (a la schizophrenia) rather than four separate people, but unless any member on here is also a member of The Who we might never know.

I believe that's right, and that's why I wasn't sure Quadrophenia was the correct answer.

Meanwhile, I'm off out now so I will take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year.
