Chat room etiquette -

After certain events in chat recently I thought it's about time to set a few rules. Other mods are free to add to the closed thread, chat room mods can pm someone to have their ideas added.
As those of you who have tried it, swear words are automatically blanked out, so please don't spell out a banned swear word in a way that it can be read, this includes using the Irish spelling of our 'F' word, unless you can prove that it's not a swear word.
Before engaging convisation with someone via whisper or pm, do a little research, you can find out the asl of a member by left clicking on their nic in the participants list then select profile. You wouldn't walk up to someone in a pub who caught your eye and just come out with asl? now would you?
If a moderator has the need to tell someone off, please don't all jump in and back one side or the other, this just makes matters worse.
Nobody is perfect.........I am nobody therefore I
am perfect.
If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.
I've learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.
The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.
