Thank you for all that attended "The Camden BDSM/SPANKING Meet" yesterday. It was nice to see a different variety of people some who were first timers to events, as well as people from this site and people who have been in the scene along time. It was nice to see "Mistress Saphire" who i have not seen for 4 or so years, it was also nice to meet the Oriental Mistress who took refuge upstairs where not many seemed to go this time round.
Janie Puss you were wonderful and i really dont see where you need advice from anyone to do things that obviously come so natural to you.
I would also like to thank spankalicious for her part she play although naturally due to circumstances she was unable to attend.
I hope she is making a good recovery.
The next one will be on April the 24th I will make a formal anouncement within the next few weeks.

Sorry , im not being funny or anything , but Im not sure whats happened to this thread, I know I asked for it to be altered . However Camdon is actually spelt Camden. Its a little embarassing running and event if I dont know how to spell the actual place its in.

Thanks Swish and Spanky Jo, today I had physio and am now starting to walk short distances with a frame. I was forgotten by the consultant today but will see him on thursday i will camp outside his room until he sees me!! I am very hopeful that i am on the way to a full recovery.

I wondered where you had been jannie puss. You should have been in the room last night, it was a riot. I was so doing my best to join the British Spanking Clique and the really groovy cool clan of the site, you know the ones who seem to spend their whole time dishing out advice to people like yourself. So longs naturally you are female, fairly good looking, and completely willing to do as you are told.

Luckily it was only a moment of madness and even luckier they will never have me in their clique. What a relief “eh”

One thing I would like to add that the events I organise or disorganise along with Spankalicious ((who is getting alot better thankfully and doing what the drs tell her)) is that I will never run these events for the so called clique. I do not ever ever seek their approval, I never have done and I never will.

Saturday had a good mixture of people some of whom were new and very welcome, as well as one person who has been about twenty or so years working as a proper respectable domme.

These were what someone in the chatroom referred to as the New Face. Personally I wouldn’t call someone who people respect and someone with that sort of knowledge a new face.

Those remarks seemed to come from the very same clan who walked into the January event making derogatory remarks about the venue. The then went on to inform me that they were only there for an hour or so to see if its any good or in other words they seemed to be praying to god that me and spanka would mess the event ((HA HA HA , WE DIDN’T)). Then went on further to announce in the chatroom that spankalicious organised the whole event and I just sat at the bar getting off my face.

After listening to all that I would be very surprised if those people wanted to come to any thing I run or ruined again. But hey presto, halleluiah, they did but it wasn’t quite as bad this time.

All I had to listen to this time was, there wasn’t enough play, and the band set up to early and naturally once again I was a little tipsy, naturally nothing positive.

Well on the play front I played, so others naturally other played because they played with me ((Sorry if that sounds obscene, its not intentional)), one person who was in awe of doing his on thing mustered up the courage to dress up and play, ((and it was his first event)), so just because certain people didn’t play it doesn’t mean no play took place.

As for the band setting up, what did you expect at a music venue, especially when I have been entrusted with a prime London music venue free of charge? Was I suppose to turn around and tell the manager don’t let the band in. I am ever so sorry but I am not that rude my mother bought me up to have better manners.

To me this is the nature of the beast. Anyone who is ever going to put there head above the parfait and either run an event , chatroom , or even just a website is likely somewhere down the line to be open to slating. What I find a little hard to take in is the people who have been living in glass houses throwing concrete slabs should really know better than to try cheap tricks such as these.

The first posting I put up regarding the March event had to be taken down because a certain person decided it would be a wonderful idea to rip it to shreds in order to make herself look better. Once again that person should really know better and I question her motivations.

My self and Spanka will be doing another event in April but I am at this moment in time there is an unwillingness to post details.

To any person who is a total decent human being in this site who can behave themselves and not offend other the door will always be open. Please give your name to either myself or spankalicious if you want the details and you will be invited to join us.

However I am going to add there are certain people, who I am going to ask very nicely, do not bother coming again. I think you know who you are.

I would now like to apologise to the powers who be if I have gone too far in this post. If you feel you need to take it down , fair enough I have had my say, and its your decission
I would further like to wish luck to anyone who is running a future event or chatroom or even a tap on this scene, it is not easy. I will never slate someone elses efforts be it an event or chatroom. But thats a two sided coin.

More power to you, fred and spanka , for organising this. As you've said, you stick your head above the parapet in this scene and someone is going to take a pot shot at it. Don't worry about it. The community is bigger than a few nay sayers at BS. You won't get everyone on board, so concentrate on the numbers who came and enjoyed, rather than the snipers.

We all knwo you too well to believe anything nasty said about you, and I certainly haven't heard anything bad. But as a friend I'd say you're sounding a bit paranoid. And paranoid could put people off. If people don't want to come, don't worry about them. If they take the trouble to post something, they're doing it because they have their own agenda.

As my fictitious Dad used to say: "Never wrestle with a pig. You get covered in sh&t and the pig enjoys it".

I think last night was the busiest I've known the chatroom to be since I first started to use the site. I must say I enjoyed it too. I always endeavour to avoid the politics that goes with the scene wherever possible, so without aligning myself with either party (especially since I don't even know who the parties are) I'd just say that those I've chatted to seemed to enjoy your event on Saturday very much.
So, keep on doing what you are doing. Surely all that matters is that those who went had a good time and seem keen to go to future events too. Be careful not to become exclusive though or else you might be perceived as a clique yourselves, and I know how much you hate cliques.

Well

This is the first chance I have, personally, had, to come onto the website since the Camden Munch, due to work commitments, but I would just like to say that I think Freddie done a great job of being the host, and for me it was great to meet some people from this website, as it was my first Munch.
I hope to come to many more, but sadly I am going to miss the April 24th one as I am working that day.
I really, really enjoyed it, because everyone was so nice and friendly and also I hope spankalicious gets better soon, as I am sure everyone hopes she does too.
