I was chatting to another member tonight and the subject of the above company came up.

I recall a sexy actress who worked for them called Miriam London and I recall the femdom movie with a twist called Rebecca Takes Charge which she starred in.

This company used to have a website but they seem to have disappeared.

Does anyone know what happened to them???????????????

No idea what happened to them, but they did look a very promising production company. I was looking forward to more from them.

I was also saddened by the disappearance of Wild Africa Canings, they looked to have some fantastic material, some of which was available on Spanking Online in their early days, but seemed to have been replaced by their own stuff, the last time I was a member.

Retrobution films used to be available to download from www.fetishvideotheater.com, but I've had a quick look this morning and they no longer seem to be available.

I remember seeing one of their films. It was a switch video. It had a 1950s rock-n-roll theme - a bloke visited a house and spanked two lovely ladies' bottoms. Then they punished him in return. (I think the bit where he punished them was a "daydream sequence".) The music and structure was good and original; and the acting was surprisingly good for a spanking film.

Retrobution's website was www.retrobution.net, but it's no longer there.

I have no more information about this company.

I think that was a follow up to Rebecca takes charge called Rebeccas Revenge , again starring the sexy Miriam London.

I dont think ive even seen her appear on any other sites either.

Like others I was disappointed when this company disappeared, as they were the only people producing FM stuff with any sort of story line. I think they were under funded and couldn't afford to put their films on DVD so instead used CD. These were available from some US outfit which still sells just CD's, I can't remember what they are called..strict women or something like that I think.

As far as I can remember the original Retrobution films came out on CD, this I guess was one of the reasons they never sold many.

Marcus from Retrobution here. Thank you for your interest in our films. We stopped production for a while due to personal issues, parent's illness, moving home etc.

We have recently started production again and moved to a new outlet

We are working on a new series at the moment. The first film should be finished in about a month. It is the most technically and psychological interesting one yet, hence it is taking quite a while to complete. I think Wild African Canings promotional still pictures were misleading, because their movies are more BDSM than spanking.

You're thinking of REDEMPTION films, redistributed by Tartan Video. Early Seventies camp stuff with the occasional half hearted whipping. Tartan later out ot Of Freaks and Men, which was interesting. it would have been more interesting if if was issued with Automatic Fast forward ...

Does anyone know if Marion London made any other films beside the excellently classy Retrobution ones?

I remember 'Retribution' videos - that used to market small budget horror films, often of the Euro-vampire variety (Jean Rollin!). But I think they changed their name to 'Salvation'.
